Piet Mondrian’s deceivingly simple pictorial vocabulary unfolds its timeless beauty in textile form. By balancing the relationships between lines, colors, and surfaces, the De Stijl artist wanted to achieve his idea of harmony in a clean, direct form. The motif for the lampshade by Strolz Leuchten comes from his 1930 work Composition in Red, Blue, and Yellow. A masterpiece of art history, reinterpreted in a product of the arts and crafts of the Bregenzerwald.

The Bivius lamp is a pure restrained all-rounder, which generates direct reading light and indirect ambient light. With its straightforward design language, it fits easily into any interior. The design of the base is deliberately restrained.
