Petasus floor lamp

Baked stainless steel / Black merino woollen loden fabric, golden inside

The Petasus lighting series designed by Marc Hoffenscher for Strolz combines several functions to bring movement into our light - firstly because of the mobility of the lampshade and secondly because of the easily changeable position of the lamp itself in the room. The lampshade is covered with Merinoloden, laminated by hand and rolled. The golden inside amplifies the reflection of the light. Baked stainless steel was used for the bronze-colored base. The architect from Vorarlberg, Marc Hoffenscher, studied with Wolf D. Prix at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London and has been running his office in Dornbirn since 2005.
